Missouri football is making waves in the recruiting world, with the recent commitment of four-star wide receiver Donovan Olugbode adding to their successful Class of 2025. The Tigers secured Olugbode just a day after another blue-chip receiver, Jayvan Boggs, pledged to the team. Olugbode, a standout from IMG Academy in Florida, is ranked as the No. 11 wide receiver in the nation in his class.
Despite tough competition from top college football programs like USC, Washington, and Oregon, Missouri managed to secure Olugbode’s commitment after his official visit. The Tigers now boast a strong group of young wide receivers, including Olugbode, Boggs, and Shaun Terry.
With star receivers set to graduate, Olugbode and his fellow recruits could see opportunities for playing time early on in their college careers. Missouri’s recruiting class has now jumped to the No. 18 team ranking in the nation, and ninth in the SEC, after the recent commitments.
The Tigers are not done yet, with more announcements expected from top prospects in the coming days. Four-star safety Charles Bass, four-star offensive lineman Lamont Rogers, and three-star offensive lineman Keiton Jones are all considering Missouri among their college options.
Overall, Missouri football is building a talented recruiting class for 2025, with Olugbode’s commitment signaling continued success for the team under Coach Eli Drinkwitz. Fans can look forward to seeing these new recruits in action in the seasons to come.
