Missouri Athletic Club Expands into Downtown Clayton

Missouri Athletic Club to Open New Location in Downtown Clayton

CLAYTON, Mo. – The Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) is set to expand its presence in the St. Louis region with a new branch in Downtown Clayton, slated to open later this year. The club has signed an agreement with Hoffman Commercial Real Estate, which recently acquired the Pierre Laclede Center, making the MAC its newest tenant.

Greg Hoffmann, president and CEO of HCRE, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that it benefits all parties involved, particularly downtown Clayton. The MAC Clayton will occupy the 14th and 15th floors of the Pierre Laclede Center, along with a fitness facility on the 13th floor. The new location will feature upscale dining, a bar, coworking spaces, and amenities for business meetings and events.

Dining services are planned to operate Monday through Friday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with Saturday evening service available. Currently, the MAC boasts a membership of over 2,670 business, professional, and civic leaders along with their families.

Donald “Chip” Misch, the club’s general manager and COO, emphasized the importance of this expansion, stating it addresses a demand expressed by members for additional amenities. With successful clubhouses already in Downtown and West County, the new facility is expected to enhance the value and reach of the club.

The MAC looks forward to integrating into the local community and providing its members with expanded services and opportunities.
