Hotel Bourré Bonne Opens in Downtown Louisville: A Fusion of History and Modern Luxury

LOUISVILLE, KY — Hotel Bourré Bonne, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, has officially opened its doors in the heart of downtown Louisville, offering a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary elegance. The hotel, aptly named to reflect the city’s horse racing culture and French bourbon heritage, invites guests to experience a sophisticated yet playful atmosphere.

Designed by Zyyo in collaboration with Mark Zeff, the hotel’s striking architecture features a black exterior adorned with arches reminiscent of historic cast-iron facades. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by an oxidized horse head sculpture and a ceiling inspired by deconstructed bourbon barrels. The interior showcases a warm color palette and locally-inspired artwork, enhancing its ties to Kentucky’s rich culture.

Hotel Bourré Bonne boasts 168 guest rooms, including four suites and 16 deluxe options, each equipped with luxurious amenities such as Frette bedding, custom bathrobes, and bar carts featuring local bourbons. "This hotel is a celebration of Louisville’s heritage," said General Manager Morty Valldejuli. "We aim to create an immersive experience that encapsulates the spirit of the city."

Culinary offerings include Steakhouse Bourré Bonne, presenting French-inspired dishes paired with prime Kentucky bourbons, and Rooftop Bourré Bonne, an expansive venue offering panoramic city views. The hotel also features over 7,000 square feet of flexible event space, making it an ideal location for weddings and corporate meetings.

As Louisville evolves, Hotel Bourré Bonne aims to be a cornerstone of this transformation, challenging traditional hospitality norms while ensuring guests leave with lasting memories. Reservations are now open, with rates starting at $309 per night.
