Missouri Legislature Allocates $100 Million for Storm Relief and Sports Funding

This measure comes as a counter to Kansas’ recent legislation offering to cover 70% of new stadium costs.
Concerns were raised by some legislators regarding the bill’s financial implications and its impact on local economies. Nevertheless, the legislation contains provisions to ensure teams remain in Missouri for at least 30 years under the funding agreement.
