COLUMBIA, Mo. — The University of Missouri baseball team is set to face Mississippi State in their final Southeastern Conference series of the 2025 season, kicking off at 6 p.m. CDT this Thursday, May 15, at Taylor Stadium. This matchup marks the seventh series between the Tigers and Bulldogs, with Mizzou having won three of the last four meetings since 2018.
All three games are available for live streaming on SEC Network+, with Max Thoma and former Tiger Dylan Kelly as announcers. Local broadcasts will be provided by the Tiger Radio Network on KTGR AM/FM, featuring Tex Little and Matt Michaels.
Promotions for the series include a “White Out” on Thursday, a Summer Kickoff beach towel giveaway for the first 150 fans on Friday, and Senior Day festivities on Saturday, starting at 1:30 p.m.
Mizzou is looking to build on a recent string of successes, having swept Texas A&M last weekend to secure their first SEC road series win in nearly three years. The Tigers, 16-35 this season, have shown significant improvement recently, showcasing offensive talent from players like junior INF Jackson Lovich, who boasts a .392 batting average in the last 39 games.
On the pitching front, senior RHP Kaden Jacobi has a solid 47 strikeouts this season, alongside graduate LHP Ian Lohse, who has been a key asset with 42 strikeouts. In contrast, Mississippi State is performing strongly at 31-20 under interim head coach Justin Parker, with standout hitter INF Ace Reese leading the Bulldogs with 17 home runs.
With Mizzou’s offensive resurgence and the Bulldogs’ formidable lineup, the series promises to be an exciting finale to the season. For tickets, visit the Mizzou Athletics ticket office or go online at MUTigers.com.
