Missouri Legislature Boosts Benefits for Fallen First Responders’ Families
JEFFERSON CITY, MO—In a significant move to support families of fallen police officers, the Missouri legislature voted on Tuesday to extend and enhance benefits for those who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty. The current $25,000 benefit for families is set to increase to $100,000 and will now remain in effect until 2031, as outlined in Senate Bill 71 which received final approval.
