Tennis Team Splits Doubleheader on Senior Day, Game No. 71


The University of Missouri tennis team wrapped up their last home matches of the season with a doubleheader against Kentucky and Lindenwood. The Tigers lost to Kentucky 4-0 but bounced back to defeat Lindenwood 4-0. With a 13-14 record, Mizzou is now preparing for the SEC tournament. Head Coach Bianca Turati expressed disappointment in the loss to Kentucky but praised the team’s performance against Lindenwood.

Against Kentucky, the Tigers struggled in doubles play and couldn’t secure a victory in singles. However, they came back strong against Lindenwood, winning the doubles point and dominating in singles matches. Freshman Gian Octa, junior Andrea Artimedi, and freshman Zoe Lazar all secured wins to help Mizzou clinch the overall victory.
