The University of Missouri softball team secured a 12-8 victory over No. 15/16 Mississippi State to even the series at Nusz Park. Missouri’s impressive win included 14 hits, five doubles, and three home runs, with standout performances from Taylor Ebbs, Madison Walker, and Stefania Abruscato. Ebbs had a stellar game with three hits, including a home run and three RBI, while Walker hit her team-leading 15th home run of the season. The Tigers scored six runs in the fourth inning to secure the win despite a late rally from the Bulldogs.
Marissa McCann earned the win, improving to 8-9 in the 2025 season, as the Tigers demonstrated strength both at the plate and on the mound. The team is set to continue their SEC road series against Mississippi State before returning home for a matchup against SIUE. They will then face off against No. 3 Texas A&M in an upcoming weekend series.
