University of Missouri softball, with a record of 20-22, is set to face off against No. 15/16 Mississippi State this weekend in Starkville, Mississippi. The three-game series will take place at Nusz Park, with game times scheduled for 6 p.m., 2 p.m., and 1 p.m. CT. Missouri holds a 15-10 series lead against Mississippi State, with their last series win in Starkville dating back to 2014.
In a recent matchup against Southern Illinois, Mizzou suffered a 5-3 loss, despite standout performances from players like Julia Crenshaw and Kayley Lenger. Crenshaw, the team’s senior catcher, currently leads the Tigers with a .390 batting average and has recorded 12 doubles and 11 home runs.
