Four individuals injured in solo car accident in southeast Missouri


A single-vehicle crash in Butler County, Missouri resulted in four people being injured on Friday morning. The incident occurred on US Highway 67, seven miles north of Poplar Bluff, at around 7:10 a.m. The driver, a 61-year-old man, lost control of the 2005 Nissan Sentra, causing it to go off the road and down an embankment. Three passengers, a 28-year-old female, a 46-year-old female, and a 23-year-old male, were also in the vehicle.

The two females sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to a regional hospital, while the two males suffered minor injuries. All four individuals are from Paragould, Arkansas. The Missouri State Highway Patrol noted that none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
