Mizzou Football Season Opener Rescheduled due to Date Change


The University of Missouri’s football season opener against Central Arkansas has been rescheduled to Thursday, August 28 at Memorial Stadium. The game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT, marking the fourth consecutive year that the Tigers have opened their season in a prime-time slot. Head coach Eliah Drinkwitz expressed excitement for the tradition of Thursday night football in Columbia. The Tigers are currently on a 10-game winning streak at Faurot Field and have a 12-game home sellout streak. They have had back-to-back 10-plus win seasons and a 21-5 record over the past two years.
