Missouri man faces charges in connection to the fentanyl overdose death of a 16-year-old

Missouri man Brandon Loudermilk has been charged with drug trafficking and child endangerment resulting in death after allegedly supplying fentanyl-laced pills to a 16-year-old boy in Gladstone, Missouri. The juvenile, identified as E.E., was found unresponsive in his bed on March 24, 2022, and died five days later after being hospitalized in a coma. Investigators discovered Facebook Messenger conversations between Loudermilk and E.E. arranging drug transactions, as well as Cash App records confirming a payment from E.E. to Loudermilk. Google location data also showed Loudermilk arriving at the victim’s home after receiving payment. Two blue M30 pills found in E.E.’s room were confirmed to contain fentanyl and acetaminophen.

At autopsy, E.E.’s death was attributed to probable acute combined drug intoxication. Loudermilk now faces charges of first-degree drug trafficking and child endangerment resulting in death. The tragic incident serves as a sobering reminder of the dangers of illegal drug sales and the devastating impact they can have, especially when involving minors. Authorities are working to hold Loudermilk accountable for his actions and ensure justice is served in this heartbreaking case.
