Missouri State beach volleyball is on an undefeated streak this season as they head to the Shoals Beach Bash in Florence, Alabama for four matches over the weekend. The team has won all 40 flights and 80 out of 82 sets played so far this season. Standout players include Olivia Rattler, who recently became the program’s all-time leader in career wins, and duo Steele and Cleary who have 28 career wins together.
Head Coach Ashley Emery, in her third season with the team, has a 43-20 career coaching record and is the program’s all-time winningest coach. Missouri State is also in their second season as an affiliate member of Conference USA.
The Bears will face Tusculum, North Alabama, Austin Peay State, and Tennessee at Chattanooga in the tournament. This will be the first meeting between Missouri State and Tusculum, while North Alabama previously won against the Bears. Austin Peay State and Tennessee at Chattanooga are upcoming matchups for the team. The Bears are looking to continue their winning streak as they compete in Florence for the second time in program history.
