Strickler emphasized the need to protect domestic violence victims and prevent further tragedies in the state. He noted that the bill aims to address a real problem in Missouri and prevent instances where individuals are tracked without their consent.
The proposed legislation has garnered bipartisan support, with co-sponsorship from Rep. Cecelie Williams and Rep. Bill Irwin. If passed, the bill would add much-needed protections for individuals in Missouri and restrict the unauthorized tracking of people using GPS devices.
