Celebrities Turn Out for AEW Revolution in Los Angeles

Sunday’s AEW Revolution at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles saw a star-studded turnout of celebrities in the audience. Among the notable names in attendance were Leslie Jones, Ken Jeong, Brad Williams, Ron Funches, and Michael Cooper of the Los Angeles Lakers.

During a match between Swerve Strickland and Ricochet for the no. 1 contender’s spot, Jones caught the attention of commentator Nigel McGuinness, who humorously mistook her for Prince Nana’s mother. Jeong, known for his roles in “The Hangover” movies and “The Masked Singer,” has had previous WWE appearances and a feud with John Cena.

Director Ash Avildsen and actors Kelli Berglund and Damaris Lewis, from the recently debuted film “Queen of the Ring” which features AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and Kamille, were also present at the event.

During the pre-show, actors Adam DeVine and Tony Cavalero from HBO’s “The Righteous Gemstones” made an appearance, executing a double chokeslam on Mansoor after a trios match that featured social media star Big Boom AJ.

Overall, the presence of these celebrities added to the excitement of the AEW Revolution event, showcasing the crossover appeal of professional wrestling.
