Top-Ranked A&T Dominates Missouri State


The No. 1-ranked Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team secured a momentous win against Missouri State with a score of 278.580 to 205.055. The victory increased Baylor’s winning streak to 43 meets and gave head coach Felecia Mulkey her 100th Baylor win.

Baylor started the meet with a 45.95-point advantage in start value over Missouri State and maintained the lead throughout the competition. The Bears excelled in the Compulsory, Acro, Pyramid, Toss, and Tumbling events, showcasing incredible skills and teamwork. Notable performances included Emily Bott, Leavy McDonald, Jordan Gruendler, Payton Washington, and Aliyah Thomas, who all contributed to Baylor’s dominant performance.

In the Team event, Baylor scored a 98.83/109.18, while Missouri State scored a 58.33/83.03 in their first-ever Team Event. With a final score of 278.580/298.98 to Missouri State’s 205.055/243.03, Baylor secured a victory by 73.525 points.
