The second game was a closer affair, with the Tigers ultimately securing a 4-2 victory after scoring two runs in the seventh inning to break a tie. Despite rallying back from a 2-0 deficit in the sixth inning of the second game, Binghamton was unable to hold off Missouri’s offense.
Noteworthy performances included freshman center fielder Matt Bolton going 3-for-4 and graduate first baseman Freddy Forgione delivering an RBI single. In the first game, Bolton had two hits and two RBI, while freshman right fielder Sam Miller added two hits and an RBI as well.
