Seremes and Rogers Secure Titles at SEC Indoor Championships


University of Missouri track and field athletes Drew Rogers and Jonathan Seremes had a successful showing at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships in Texas. Seremes set a new school record and claimed first place in the men’s triple jump with a jump of 16.97m (55-8.25), also breaking the facility record. Rogers won the men’s 3000m race with a school-best time of 7:53.61, beating his previous best by 2.39 seconds. Other notable performances included Sterling Scott and Euphenie Andre placing eighth in the triple jump, Kristi Perez-Snyman finishing fourth in the women’s high jump, and Rahel Broemmel coming in sixth in the women’s mile.
