Caleb Grill led No. 14 Missouri to a 101-71 victory over South Carolina on Tuesday night, scoring 22 points, with Anthony Robinson II adding 14 points and eight assists. Missouri had six players score in double figures, improving to 21-7 on the season.
The Gamecocks, led by Collin Murray-Boyles’ 27 points and Jamarii Thomas’ 17 points, were unable to keep pace with Missouri’s offense. The Tigers shot 63.5% from the field and made 11 of 19 shots from 3-point range.
Missouri’s 101 points were the most allowed by South Carolina this season, and it marked the fourth time this season that the Tigers scored at least 100 points. The Tigers have now won four of their last five games and hold an 18-1 home record.
Grill scored 12 of his points during a key 16-4 run in the first half, helping Missouri secure a 27-13 lead. The win marks the fifth consecutive conference game in which Missouri has scored at least 80 points.
Missouri is set to face Vanderbilt next, while South Carolina will host Arkansas on Saturday.
