Fatal Crash Claims Lives of Four in Vernon County, Missouri


In Vernon County, Missouri, a tragic two-vehicle crash on Friday night has left four people dead and six others injured. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on U.S. 54 near Nevada, Mo., when a car carrying five individuals failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by an SUV. The car then collided with a tree and a fence off the road.

The victims of the crash include three individuals in the car, an 18-year-old woman from Springfield, a 19-year-old woman from Climax Springs, and a 21-year-old woman from Camdenton, who all lost their lives. The driver of the car sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital in Joplin. Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV, a 38-year-old man from Osceola, also tragically lost his life. The passengers in the SUV were all transported to a hospital, one with serious injuries.
