Southeast Missouri University’s basketball team continues its winning streak with an 87-66 victory over Western Illinois. Brendan Terry scored a career-high 25 points leading the team to its eighth consecutive win, setting a program record. The Redhawks also secured their 13th Ohio Valley Conference win, the third-highest in a season for the team. Terry had a strong performance, scoring the team’s first 13 points of the game and finishing with 25 points and 9 rebounds. The team’s balanced scoring effort saw five players reach double figures. SEMO dominated the game, shooting 50% from the field and 58.3% in the second half. The victory over Western Illinois marked their second win of the season against the team and completed their fourth home-and-home sweep in OVC action. SEMO will look to continue their success as they host Lindenwood in their home finale. The Redhawks have shown resilience and determination, setting themselves up for a strong finish to the season.
