The University of Missouri softball team is gearing up for the 2025 season with their annual Black & Gold Game set to take place on Sunday at the Devine Pavilion. The Tigers are coming off an impressive 2024 season, securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the 17th consecutive year. Head coach Larissa Anderson led the team to a top-10 finish and an NCAA Super Regional appearance.
Mizzou is ranked No. 15 in multiple preseason polls and returns key players from last season including SEC All-Defensive right fielder Kayley Lenger and NFCA All-Region first baseman Abby Hay. The Tigers will open their season at the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Florida, facing off against Marshall and Northwestern.
Fans are invited to attend the Black & Gold Game for free, with warmups starting at 9 a.m. and the game kicking off at 10 a.m. Coolers are not permitted, and all drinks must have lids. Parking will be available at the MATC and Founder’s Lots.
