The group’s message, aligning Trump with the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on abortion, drew criticism from Ginsburg’s granddaughter. Trump took credit for the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, with three Trump-appointed justices voting to overturn the national right to abortion. Musk also donated to America PAC and MAHA Alliance, further supporting Trump’s campaign. America PAC faced criticism for a controversial cash giveaway that Philadelphia District Attorney tried to stop but was unsuccessful. The Justice Department warned the PAC about potential legal issues with the giveaway. Musk, a top donor to Trump this cycle, also served as an advisor to Trump on government spending cuts. Despite Musk’s support, Trump faced scrutiny over his abortion stance and potential restrictions if elected. In total, Musk’s contributions to pro-Trump efforts exceeded $250 million during the election cycle.
