The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering a free virtual program on Missouri’s giant mammals, such as elk, mountain lions, and bison, on Dec. 17 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The program, led by MDC Conservation Educator Sam Stewart, will explore these fascinating creatures and how to safely encounter them in the wild. Registration is required, with limited seats available. Participants will receive the program link at least 30 minutes before the start time.
