Bears Struggle in Second Half Against Missouri

The California men’s basketball team suffered a tough 98-93 loss to Missouri despite a strong performance from Andrej Stojakovic, who scored a career-high 26 points. Cal held a 16-point halftime lead but couldn’t maintain it as Missouri mounted a second-half comeback. Four Golden Bears finished in double figures, including Jeremiah Wilkinson with 19 points and Rytis Petraitis with 17. Jovan Blacksher Jr. returned from injury to add 13 points and five steals. However, Missouri’s Anthony Robinson II scored a career-best 29 points to lead his team to victory. Cal shot well at 50% but couldn’t keep up with Missouri’s hot shooting in the second half. The loss marked Cal’s second in their last eight games. The team was missing key players BJ Omot and DJ Campbell while Missouri was without leading scorer Caleb Grill. Cal will look to bounce back as they host Stanford in their next game, part of the ACC Challenge contest. Fans can support the team by purchasing tickets for the season and following them on social media for updates.
