Missouri’s Grill Reopens After Hospital Stay

Missouri guard Caleb Grill was released from the hospital after suffering a neck injury during a game against Lindenwood. Grill went to the floor during a rebound battle and had to be taken off the court on a stretcher. Thankfully, there was no spinal cord damage, but his return timeline is uncertain.

Grill, who leads the Tigers in scoring, had two points in seven minutes before the injury occurred in Missouri’s 82-62 win. The team will now prepare to host California in the upcoming SEC/ACC Challenge on Tuesday night.

Missouri is currently 6-1 and looking to continue their winning streak with Grill’s absence. The team is hoping for a swift recovery for the talented guard as they face off against California (6-1) next week. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Mizzou Arena. Despite the setback, the Tigers are excited for the challenge and remain focused on maintaining their strong performance in the season.
