ACI Airports Council International (ACI) World, in partnership with Amadeus, has revealed the winners of the 2024 Technology Innovation Awards during the ACI Airports Innovate event in Rome, Italy. These awards recognize the most visionary airport technology initiatives that are shaping the future of air transport, enhancing passenger experiences, and driving operational efficiency in the aviation industry.
In its fourth year, the Technology Innovation Awards program invites airports worldwide to submit their most innovative technology projects. This year, a record number of submissions were received, showcasing a wide range of groundbreaking innovations from airports of all sizes.
The winners of the 2024 Technology Innovation Awards include Dallas Love Field Airport for their 3D LED Holographic Signage Fan Displays, Toronto Pearson International Airport for their AI-Powered Turnaround Operations Optimization, Emanuele CalĂ from Aeroporti di Roma for Best Airport Innovation Leader, and Gerald R. Ford International Airport for the Ford Launchpad for Innovative Technologies and Entrepreneurship (FLITE).
These awards highlight the growing commitment of airports to adopting transformative technologies that enhance the future of air travel. The event also brings together airport leaders, technology experts, and industry professionals to explore cutting-edge innovations in airport operations, passenger experiences, and sustainable practices.
