The University of Missouri women’s basketball team secured an 85-57 victory over Wichita State led by 22 points from Ashton Judd and a double-double from Laniah Randle. Judd’s season-high point total was accompanied by five rebounds and a steal, while Randle notched her 14th career double-double with 12 points and 10 boards. Grace Slaughter added 12 points and was named to the All-Tournament team.
Missouri dominated in the paint early, taking a 16-8 lead, and continued to build on it throughout the game. They outrebounded Wichita State 26-11 in the first half and forced turnovers on the defensive end. A strong offensive showing from the Tigers resulted in a balanced scoring attack, with contributions from several players.
In the second half, Missouri extended their lead with a 15-0 run, highlighted by Judd’s scoring prowess. The Tigers closed out the game by outscoring the Shockers 19-14 in the final quarter, ultimately securing a 32-point victory.
