The 2024 Central Missouri media all-district football team was announced on Wednesday, recognizing several area players for their outstanding performances. Four area coaches also received coach of the year honors in their respective classes. The team includes standout players like Brady Davidson of Rock Bridge and Chris Brown of Battle.
In Class 5, Austin Weaver of Helias and Karson Durnin of Camdenton were recognized for their offensive achievements, while Easton Lueckenhoff of Helias and Tim Tharp of Helias were standout defensive players. Chris Hentges of Helias was named Coach of the Year in Class 5.
Shannon Jolley of School of the Osage received Coach of the Year honors in Class 4, with players like Maverick Trusty and Adian Williams of School of the Osage making the first team. Ted LePage of Blair Oaks was named Coach of the Year in Class 3, with players like Evan Bishop of Boonville and Hayden Lackman of Blair Oaks earning spots on the first team.
In Class 1, Dane Schlotzhauer of Tipton and Trace Combs of Harrisburg were among the players recognized for their offensive talents. Coach Bill Duke of Tipton was named Coach of the Year in Class 1 for his outstanding leadership.
