The University of Missouri women’s basketball team secured an impressive 112-59 victory over Saint Louis on Wednesday at Mizzou Arena. Led by sophomore Abbey Schreacke with 19 points and five triples, the Tigers had five players scoring in double figures. Senior Laniah Randle contributed 15 points and seven rebounds, while sophomore Grace Slaughter added 14 points.
The Tigers started strong defensively, holding Saint Louis scoreless for the first three minutes and went on a 19-4 run to start the game. They continued their dominance in the second quarter with an 8-0 run and extended their lead to 28 points at halftime. Missouri shot 53% from the field and 46% from the 3-point line, while forcing 24 turnovers and scoring 31 points off of them.
Missouri’s next game is on Friday at 11:30 a.m. against Little Rock at Mizzou Arena. The game will be part of the Columbia Public Schools education event and will be streamed live on SECN+. The Tigers will look to continue their winning streak and maintain their strong performance as they face off against Little Rock.
