Missouri Tigers Women’s Basketball Dominates Saint Louis 112-59

COLUMBIA, MO – The Missouri Tigers women’s basketball team showcased a stunning offensive performance Wednesday night, defeating Saint Louis 112-59 at Mizzou Arena. This marks the highest point total for the Tigers since a 120-point game against Bradley on December 8, 2013.

Right from the start, Missouri took control, scoring the first seven points of the game and building an impressive lead of 15 points in the first quarter. The Tigers ended the opening quarter with a solid 23-11 advantage. The momentum continued in the second quarter, where the team launched an 11-0 run in under three minutes, extending the lead to 34-11. By halftime, Missouri had established a commanding 55-27 lead, surpassing their total points scored in previous losses this season.

The second half saw no let-up from the Tigers. They began with a 15-2 run, pushing their lead to 70-29. Heading into the final quarter, Missouri held an overwhelming 83-37 advantage, maintaining a lead of over 50 points for the final six minutes of the game.

Abbey Schreacke led the scoring for Missouri with 19 points, including five 3-pointers. Laniah Randle and Grace Slaughter contributed 15 and 14 points, respectively, while Angelique Ngalkulondi and Ashton Judd added 11 and 10 points to the tally. From the bench, Hannah Linthacum made an impact with four points and a team-high eight rebounds in just 13 minutes.

With the win, Missouri improves to 4-2 and is currently on a three-game winning streak. The Tigers will return to the court on Friday at 11:30 a.m., facing Little Rock at home. Meanwhile, Saint Louis falls to 2-3 on the season.
