Shannex, a long-term care provider, is launching a new community called Bloomsbury in Bedford, Nova Scotia. This innovative community is the first of its kind in Canada, offering a blend of social, health, wellness, and dining amenities within a residential setting. Situated in the Larry Uteck area, Bloomsbury will feature public amenities such as outdoor spaces, cafes, restaurants, and a local market, as well as a members-only Social and Wellness Club called Allbright Life.
The Allbright Life club will offer exclusive access to dining and entertainment venues, a gym, health center, and thermal spa, creating a space for connection and personal fulfillment. Designed to cater to Canada’s evolving demographics and lifestyle priorities, Bloomsbury aims to bridge the gap between social needs and daily realities by fostering interaction and community engagement for people of all ages.
The first phase of Bloomsbury is expected to be completed in 2026. Shannex, a family-owned organization, is committed to inspiring health, wellness, and fulfillment at all stages of life. For more information about Bloomsbury and Allbright Life, visit welcometobloomsbury.ca and allbrightlife.ca.
