Despite their third loss, Mizzou remains in the College Football Playoff Rankings.

Despite suffering their third loss of the season in Week 12, the Missouri Tigers managed to hold on to their spot in the top 25 of the College Football Playoff rankings. The 34-30 loss to South Carolina unofficially eliminated them from playoff contention, but the committee chose to keep them in the same ranking. They were, however, dropped from both the AP and USA Today Coaches’ Polls after the defeat. Even though they have lost to highly ranked teams like Alabama and Texas A&M, they played a competitive game against South Carolina, narrowly missing out on a win in the final minutes.

With two weeks left in the regular season, the Tigers currently stand at the 23rd spot in the rankings. Despite the setbacks, two of Mizzou Football’s freshmen have been gaining confidence after receiving playing time. Looking ahead to Week 13, bowl projections are being made for Mizzou Football as they still have something to play for in the upcoming games. Quarterback Brady Cook is aware of what is at stake and is prepared to give it his all.

Overall, while the loss to South Carolina may have dimmed their playoff hopes, the Missouri Tigers are focused on finishing the season strong and proving themselves on the field. With talented freshmen stepping up and experienced players leading the way, they are ready to take on the challenges ahead and show that they are a force to be reckoned with in college football.
