A British man, later identified as Mathew Payne, fell from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The emergency health service confirmed the incident. The caller, claiming to be the head of reception, mentioned that the guest had been staying at the hotel for two to three days. Payne had been sharing updates on his Snapchat account about his time in Argentina, including playing polo and his girlfriend’s departure back to Florida. The U.K Foreign Office stated they are in contact with local authorities regarding the death of the British man. Firefighters were seen removing Payne’s body from the scene as fans gathered. Representatives for Payne have not responded to requests for comment.
