The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced road work plans for the week of October 14th in Northwest Missouri. Road closures and delays are expected as crews work to improve infrastructure in the region.
In Andrew County, crews will be working on Route AC for culvert replacements between Highway 71 and County Road 437. This project is expected to be completed by the end of the week, weather permitting.
In Carroll County, work will continue on Route E for culvert replacements between County Road 210 and Route U. Motorists should expect delays in this area as crews work to complete the project.
In Daviess County, pavement repairs will be taking place on Route 13 from Route 6 to the Grand River Bridge. Motorists should use caution in this area and be prepared for possible delays.
In Grundy County, crews will be making bridge repairs on Route C over the Medicine Creek Bridge. Traffic will be reduced to one lane during construction, so motorists should plan for delays and allow extra time for their commute.
In Mercer County, work will continue on Route RA for bridge deck replacement over the Muddy Creek Bridge. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a temporary traffic signal in place for the duration of the project.
Drivers are urged to use caution and obey all signage and flaggers in work zones. MoDOT advises motorists to plan ahead and allow extra time for their travels during this time. The agency also reminds drivers to slow down and move over for work crews to ensure everyone’s safety on the road.
