At least four people were killed and many more were injured in a shooting in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred in one of the city’s popular entertainment districts. Police arrived at the scene around 11 p.m. and found three individuals dead from gunshot wounds. A fourth victim later died at a nearby hospital. Investigators believe there were multiple shooters who fired at a group of people, but no suspects have been taken into custody yet. The motive for the shooting is still unclear. The police department is asking for the public’s help in providing any information that could assist in the investigation, including checking security camera footage from nearby businesses. The FBI and ATF have been called in to assist with the case. This is the second mass shooting in Birmingham this year, following a July incident where four people were killed at a nightclub. Police are working diligently to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
