Perth Amboy residents have the opportunity to enjoy celebrity-worthy meals at the Chef Deluxe Me Latin fusion food truck located at Washington Park. Owned by chef Manaury Castro, who has cooked for stars like Fat Joe, Bow Wow, and Cardi B, the food truck offers a variety of delicious dishes with a Latin twist.
Castro, a Dominican native and Perth Amboy resident, launched his food truck two years ago, showcasing his talent for creating dishes like five-cheese mac and cheese, chicken wings, beef sliders, skirt steak sandwiches, crispy shrimp, empanadas, and loaded fries. His culinary skills have earned him a following of nearly 40,000 on Instagram, where he shares his creations and interactions with celebrity clients.
Aside from running the food truck, Castro also works as a private chef, catering events and parties. Inspired by his love for food and cooking, he decided to pursue his passion full-time, foregoing a career in the police force. His dedication and talent have led to the success of Chef Deluxe Me, which has become a favorite among locals in Perth Amboy.
Residents can visit the food truck at Washington Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Additionally, Chef Deluxe Me will be participating in the Perth Amboy Dominican Festival from August 30 to September 1. With his unique fusion of Latin flavors and celebrity clientele, Chef Manaury Castro continues to bring delicious and innovative dishes to the Perth Amboy community.
