Oasis to reunite for 2025 tour after 15 years, announcement confirms

Legendary British rock band Oasis has announced a reunion tour set to kick off in 2025, 15 years after splitting due to sibling rivalry between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. The band, known for hit songs like Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger, will play 14 shows across the UK before moving on to global performances. The highly anticipated tour will begin at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and include six hometown shows in Manchester, a headline at London’s Wembley Stadium, performances in Edinburgh and Dublin, and more. Ticket sales will start on Saturday, promising to be one of the biggest live moments of the decade.

Oasis, formed in 1991, had a successful run before tensions between the Gallagher brothers reached a breaking point in 2009. The feud escalated into a physical altercation in Paris during a festival performance, leading Noel to leave the band. Despite not performing together since, both brothers continue to sing Oasis hits to sold-out crowds individually. The upcoming reunion marks a significant moment as it comes 30 years after the release of the band’s iconic album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? Liam Gallagher has expressed a desire to reconcile with Noel, emphasizing the importance of their brotherly bond over financial motivations for the reunion. Fans around the world are eagerly anticipating the return of one of the most iconic bands of the Britpop era.
