The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced a list of highway maintenance and construction projects in the mid-Missouri area for July 29-August 4. These projects include pavement repair, shoulder work, culvert replacements, bridge rehabilitation, resurfacing, sealing operations, and more. Motorists are advised to be cautious, as many projects will include lane closures which could cause delays.
Some key projects include culvert replacement on Route C and Route E, bridge rehabilitation on Route 19, and road resurfacing on Routes E and H. Additionally, there will be shoulder work on Route M, Route O, and Route U, and bridge deck replacement on Route HH. The I-44 overpass in Bourbon will also undergo bridge rehabilitation, with a road closure in place.
Other projects include resurfacing on I-44, pavement repair on Route CC, and seal coating on Routes ZZ, BB, and Z. Road closures are expected in various locations, with flag crews directing traffic through the work zones. Motorists can visit MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map or contact their Customer Service Center for updates and more information.
All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change. The completion of these projects will improve the safety and quality of transportation infrastructure in the mid-Missouri area.
