Missouri football continues to make waves on the recruiting trail with the addition of four-star in-state defensive end Daeden Hopkins to their Class of 2025. Hopkins, a Hermann, Missouri native, announced his commitment on social media, becoming the seventh player to pledge to Eli Drinkwitz’s team in April. He is now the second-highest-ranked player in Missouri to commit to the Tigers.
In the past month, Missouri has secured commitments from several top recruits, including standout quarterback Matt Zollers from Pennsylvania and linebacker Jason King from St. Louis. The Tigers have been on a roll, also landing a transfer offensive tackle from SMU and making significant advances in their stadium renovation plans.
With the addition of Hopkins and other top recruits, Missouri’s recruiting class is currently ranked 24th in the nation and 10th in the SEC on 247Sports’ leaderboard. While it is still early in the recruiting cycle, the Tigers are showing that they are serious contenders in the competitive SEC.
The Tigers have had a busy and successful month, culminating in a strong recruiting class and positive developments both on and off the field. With the momentum they have built, Missouri football is poised for success in the upcoming season under the leadership of coach Eli Drinkwitz.
