Paris experienced scorching temperatures and cloud-free skies on Monday, with sports fans battling the heat outside Olympic venues and fan zones. While the 2024 Olympic Games had a rainy start, recent days have seen improved weather. Meteo France predicts a maximum temperature of 36°C on Tuesday, posing concerns for athletes, spectators, tourists, and residents. To combat the heat, Meteo France recommended staying hydrated, wearing hats, and using spray bottles. In response, the Paris regional train and metro operator, Île-de-France Mobilités, announced plans to distribute two million bottles of water at over 70 train stations and stops, as well as bus stations. The initiative aims to meet the needs of the millions of Olympic Games spectators in Paris. As temperatures continue to rise, individuals are urged to take necessary precautions and avoid going out during the hottest hours.
