He endorsed Kurt Schaefer as his choice to succeed him, praising Schaefer’s integrity, conservative values, and residency within the district, unlike one of his opponents, Dr. Onder, who has moved out of the district.
Luetkemeyer emphasized the importance of living in the district one represents, criticizing Onder for not residing there and questioning his commitment to representing the people. He underscored the need for genuine empathy and concern for constituents in order to effectively serve as their representative.
