The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced a list of highway maintenance and construction projects planned in North Missouri for the week of July 29-August 4. These projects include resurfacing on U.S. Route 71 and U.S. Route 169 in Andrew County, bridge replacement on Route 111 in Atchison County, and bridge rehabilitation on Cook Road Bridge in Buchanan County, among others.
There will also be pothole patching, culvert replacements, and bridge maintenance work taking place in various counties such as Caldwell, Carroll, Chariton, Clinton, Daviess, Linn, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, and Sullivan. Some roads will be closed for construction work, and drivers are advised to check the MoDOT Traveler Information Map for updated information and possible schedule changes due to inclement weather.
In addition to the planned construction projects, there may also be moving operations throughout the region, so drivers are urged to proceed with caution and be aware of construction zones. The Missouri Department of Transportation is working to improve the safety and condition of highways in North Missouri, and drivers are encouraged to stay informed and plan their routes accordingly.
