Central Missouri has been named the favorites in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) football preseason polls. The Mules received 117 total points and six first-place votes in the coaches’ poll, while also earning 98 total points and 11 first-place votes in the media poll.

The Mules are coming off a successful 2020 season where they finished with a 5-2 record and reached the NCAA Division II playoffs for the first time since 2010.
