An 80-year-old man was struck by an ATV while putting up a Trump sign in his yard in Michigan, resulting in critical injuries. The incident was part of a series of vandalism targeting individuals expressing support for former President Donald Trump or law enforcement in Hancock. After the incident, a 22-year-old man called authorities confessing his involvement, then committed suicide at his home in Quincy Township. The ATV and clothing matching the description of the suspect were found at the scene. The victim’s political sign was not identified, but it was reported that he displayed Trump election signs or “thin blue line” stickers and flags. The police and sheriff’s office are still investigating the case, with three incidents believed to be connected. Hancock is a small city in northwestern Michigan.
