Public polling shows Kehoe and Ashcroft in a close race, with Eigel trailing. All three candidates have proposed similar policies, such as creating a board to oversee the St. Louis police department and strengthening anti-abortion measures.
Kehoe, a successful businessman turned politician, Ashcroft, an engineer turned Secretary of State, and Eigel, a former Air Force officer, each bring unique backgrounds and perspectives to the race.
As the primary election approaches, the candidates are ramping up their campaigns, with tightening polls indicating a competitive race for the Republican nomination for governor in Missouri.
