A 26-year-old Missouri man, Jarvis McIntire, who was reported missing in San Antonio has been laid to rest after his body was found in a creek bed at John James Park. Friends and family gathered to honor McIntire’s life during a Friday service. McIntire was reported missing on June 8 and was last seen on Holbrook Road. A 911 call was made on June 9 reporting a person being chased by someone with a rifle in the area where McIntire was last seen. Six days later, his body was found in the park, but the cause of death remains unknown. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office is still investigating McIntire’s cause of death. Authorities are still trying to piece together the events leading up to his death. The community has shown an outpouring of support for McIntire and his loved ones as they mourn his loss.
