The Italian Family Lifestyle Series

Tod’s Fall 2024 campaign celebrates Italian lifestyle, art, and architecture with a twist. The Italian Stories campaign focuses on real Italian families, starting with the Businaro family and their residence, Villa Il Palazzetto. The 17th-century villa near Padova was restored by architect Carlo Scarpa in the 1960s and serves as the backdrop for the campaign, lensed by Zoë Ghertner.

Tod’s general brand manager, Carlo Alberto Beretta, describes the campaign as a celebration of Italian values such as family, hospitality, and timeless style. The Businaro family, who have owned Villa Il Palazzetto for over a century, embody these values, with the villa featuring a mix of vintage and contemporary elements, including art, furniture, and a striking modernist staircase designed by Carlo Scarpa.

The campaign features models wearing Matteo Tamburini’s designs for Tod’s, including a leather bomber jacket and the iconic Gommino Bubble loafers. Tamburini took over as creative director last year, bringing a fresh perspective to the brand known for its high-quality craftsmanship. The fall collection was showcased at a historic tram depot in Milan, reflecting Tod’s commitment to excellence and Italian heritage.

By highlighting the Businaro family and their connection to Villa Il Palazzetto, Tod’s Fall 2024 campaign showcases the beauty and elegance of Italian lifestyle. Aldo Businaro’s dedication to promoting Italian design and beauty resonates with Tod’s Group chairman Diego Della Valle’s vision for superior quality and timeless style.
