Four-star wide receiver Jayvan Boggs from Cocoa, Florida has officially committed to play for Mizzou, announcing his decision on the Fourth of July. Boggs, who was previously committed to Ohio State, is ranked 67th nationally by Rivals and had an impressive junior season, receiving various honors and leading his high school team to a state championship.
In his 2023 season, Boggs recorded 93 receptions for 1,493 yards and 23 touchdowns, earning a spot on the MaxPreps High School Football Junior All-American team. Analysts believe Boggs has the potential to be a standout player at the college level, with Andrew Ivins from 247Sports noting his start potential.
With the addition of Boggs, Mizzou now has 13 commitments for their 2025 recruiting class, with six of them being four-star recruits. Boggs received offers from various schools, including Georgia, UCF, Florida, Notre Dame, and Texas, before ultimately choosing Mizzou.
