Arkansas football game against Missouri on Black Friday unlikely to happen; additional 2024 game times revealed


Arkansas and Missouri will not be playing on Black Friday for only the second time since the annual series began in 2014, according to a source. Instead, the SEC and ESPN have announced that the Mississippi State-Ole Miss series will be moved to Black Friday and will be televised by ABC. Georgia will also be playing on Black Friday against Georgia Tech on ABC. The Razorbacks and Tigers are scheduled to play on Saturday, Nov. 30, with the game time and TV network to be announced later.

In addition, two more Arkansas kickoff times have been announced. The Razorbacks’ second game of the season against Oklahoma State on Sept. 7 will kick off at 11 a.m. on ABC. The following week, Arkansas will host Alabama-Birmingham at 3:15 p.m. on Sept. 14 on SEC Network.

The start time for Arkansas’ season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Aug. 29 at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock has been moved to 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU. Game times and broadcast information for the rest of Arkansas’ schedule are yet to be determined.

SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said that games kicking off between 11 a.m. and noon Central will be announced in mid-June. Arkansas football’s 2024 schedule has been announced, with game times to be determined.
